在剛剛結(jié)束的美網(wǎng)公開賽中，被稱為納豆的納達(dá)爾戰(zhàn)勝了德約科維奇，捧起了美網(wǎng)金杯也成就了個(gè)人的金滿貫。在對(duì)賽事的報(bào)道中，我們會(huì)看到love game的說法，什么是love game呢？
在網(wǎng)球計(jì)分中，0分被叫做love，這個(gè)說法的來歷有幾種說法。維基百科上說：
The origin of the use of "love" for zero is alsderio disputed. It is possible that it derives from the French expression for "the egg" (l'œuf) because an egg looks like the number zero. "Love" is also said to derive from l'heure "the hour" in French. A third possibility comes from the Dutch expression iets voor lof doen, which means to do something for praise, implying no monetary stakes。
意譯一下就是，把零分稱為love的起源很有爭(zhēng)議，這個(gè)說法很有可能是源自法語對(duì)“蛋” 的表達(dá)，法語中雞蛋叫做l'œuf，因?yàn)榈皥A圓的和0分很像。說起來漢語也有把0分叫鴨蛋的說法，大家的思維還是很有共性的嘛。“Love” 另一種說法是源自法語“小時(shí)”這個(gè)詞 l'heure，第三種說法是說從德語詞iets voor lof doen來的，意思是為了榮譽(yù)做某件事，潛臺(tái)詞就是沒錢賺。
另外還有一種說法是英語有個(gè)古老的詞組play for the money or play for love，其中play for love逐漸轉(zhuǎn)義為play for nothing。因此兩個(gè)多世紀(jì)以來love一直被用以表示“零分”。
而如果贏得一局的時(shí)候，對(duì)手一分未得，就是一局 love game了。
