英國(guó)的七種銀行卡及英國(guó)銀行常用的項(xiàng)目服務(wù)類別：
1. cash card
A cash card can be those cards that you can insert into an ATM or other cash dispenser, or a pre-paid credit card, or a card with a preset cash value from a particular store (Costco or Subway)， which is read by a cash card reader and used to pay for products or services at that retailer。
英國(guó)銀行的現(xiàn)金卡，英文稱呼為Cash Card，它主要的作用是幫助持卡人在銀行或ATM機(jī)上存取現(xiàn)金。
2. debit card
Debit cards usually allow for instant withdrawal of cash, acting as the ATM card for withdrawing cash and as a check guarantee card. Merchants may also offer cashback facilities to customers, where a customer can withdraw cash along with their purchase。
英國(guó)銀行的借記卡，英文稱呼為Debit Card，它主要作用是幫助持卡人在商場(chǎng)里刷卡消費(fèi)，這樣持卡人所消費(fèi)的費(fèi)用都會(huì)直接通過(guò)銀行的結(jié)算，從相應(yīng)的賬戶上扣除。
3. credit card
A credit card allows its holder to buy goods and services based on the holder's promise to pay for these goods and services.A credit card is different from a charge card: a charge card requires the balance to be paid in full each month. A credit card also differs from a cash card, which can be used like currency by the owner of the card。
英國(guó)銀行的信用卡，英文稱呼為Credit Card，它主要的作用是透支消費(fèi)。如果留學(xué)生的信用紀(jì)錄比較好，在申請(qǐng)并經(jīng)過(guò)審核后，英國(guó)銀行就會(huì)為留學(xué)生提供一張信用卡，允許留學(xué)生從中透支部分資金，而后再定期還款。
4.current account
In economics, the current account is one of the two primary components of the balance of payments, the other being the capital account。
英國(guó)銀行的現(xiàn)金賬戶，英文稱呼是Current account，主要是用來(lái)存取日常開支的賬戶，賬戶利息很低或沒(méi)有利息。
5. savings account
Savings accounts are accounts maintained by retail financial institutions that pay interest but cannot be used directly as money (for example, by writing a cheque)。
英國(guó)銀行的存款賬戶，英文稱呼是Saving account，主要是用來(lái)存款的賬戶，利息較高但是不能支付支票，如果需要提取現(xiàn)金需要和銀行提前預(yù)約。
6. cheque guarantee card
A cheque guarantee card is essentially an abbreviated portable letter of credit granted by a bank to a qualified depositor, providing that when he is paying a business by cheque and the retailer
writes the card number on the back of the cheque, the cheque was signed in the retailer's presence, and the retailer verifies the signature on the cheque against the signature on the card, then the cheque cannot be stopped and payment cannot be refused by the bank。
英國(guó)銀行的支票保證卡，英文稱呼為Cheque guarantee Card，它主要的作用是在使用支票時(shí)出示，以作為支付保證，支票保證卡上會(huì)被注明擔(dān)保的金額，也就是持卡人每次可以開具支票的最高額度。
7. overdraft
occurs when money is withdrawn from a bank account and the available balance goes below zero. In this situation the account is said to be "overdrawn". If there is a prior agreement with the account provider for an overdraft, and the amount overdrawn is within the authorized overdraft limit, then interest is normally charged at the agreed rate。
英國(guó)的透支服務(wù)，英文稱呼是Overdraft，一般來(lái)說(shuō)英國(guó)銀行是支持透支的，如果留學(xué)生需要透支，可以與銀行進(jìn)行協(xié)商，部分銀行會(huì)同意為留學(xué)生提供一定額度的無(wú)償透支，而更多的銀行會(huì)要求有償透支，也就是說(shuō)留學(xué)生要提前支付透支利息。
