I.　考試性質(zhì)
普通高等學校本科插班生招生考試是由?？飘厴I(yè)生參加的選拔性考試。高等學校根據(jù)考生的成績，按已確定的招生計劃，德、智、體全面衡量，擇優(yōu)錄取。因此，本科插班生考試應(yīng)有較高的信度、效度、必要的區(qū)分度和適當?shù)碾y度。
本大綱適用于與所有需要參加《英語寫作》考試的各專業(yè)考生。

III. 考試形式及試卷結(jié)構(gòu)
一、考試形式
考試形式為筆試（閉卷），與翻譯考試合考，滿分為150分，考試總時間為150分鐘。寫作部分滿分為60分，考試時間為60分鐘，考生使用答題卡/卷答題。
二、試卷題型比例
小作文：（應(yīng)用文）20分
大作文：（說明文或議論文）40分

Section A: Letter-writing (20 points)
Write a note of 50-60 words based on the following situation.
Your classmate, Jimmy, is head of the university’s swimming club. He has invited you to join the club, but you like some other sport. Write him a note, declining his invitation and explaining why.#p#分頁標題#e#
Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriateness.

Section B: Composition (40 points)
People in modern society live under a lot of pressure, from education, career, or family. So it is important for them to keep a good mood under whatever circumstances. 
Write a composition of about 150 words on the following topic: 
The Importance of Keeping a Good Mood
You are to write in three parts.
In the first part, state specifically what your view is.
In the second part, support your view with one or two reasons.
In the last part, bring what you have written to a natural conclusion or a summary.
Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriateness. Failure to follow the instructions may result in a loss of marks.
